Situated in the district of Nyon, at the foot of the Jura mountains and 15 minutes from the St.Cergue cross-country ski trails, Bassins is conveniently located to access Nyon, Lausanne and Geneva. One of the greenest municipalities in Switzerland, Bassins offers many services for residents, such as the primary and secondary school, a 25-m ecological swimming pool, as well as communal heating from the sustainably managed forest. A manege is also being built in the area.
